Our Story
I still can't believe that our story started with something so simple as a swipe. I matched with Angeline on DilMil in March 2023 and sent her a casual "Hey Angeline." I never thought that moment would lead me to the woman I would spend the rest of my life with.
Our relationship needed patience and purpose from the start. Angeline was always a day ahead of me because we lived 17 hours apart. Because we both had busy work schedules, loving each other took work and dedication. What could have been hard turned out to be meaningful because we both knew from the start that this was real and worth keeping.
We fell in love through planned calls, late-night talks, early-morning texts, and many goodbyes. Distance taught us how to talk to each other, how to wait, and how to pick each other even when it was hard. We built something strong, deep, and unshakable across oceans and time zones.
Angeline is my rock during hard times. She is the one who listens carefully, loves on purpose, and always leads with grace. She pushes me, supports me, and makes me want to be the best me I can be. I feel seen, understood, and deeply loved with her.
It started as a simple swipe, but now it's a love based on faith, hard work, and never-ending dedication. I wouldn't want to live this life with anyone else. I'm so glad our paths crossed, and I'm even more glad that I can call Angeline my forever.
Ajith and I met on DilMil — a dating app that neither of us imagined would change our lives. In March 2023, an American boy swiped right on an Australian girl, and a simple “Hey Angeline ” quietly became the beginning of our forever.
With a 17-hour time difference between us, we had no idea how this would work. I was always a day ahead of Ajith, and with both of our busy work schedules, loving each other meant learning how to make time for each other. Within a few months, we both knew this wasn’t just a temporary long distance romance — this was something real and worth fighting for.
Our relationship has been built on scheduled calls, late-night conversations, sleepy good-morning texts, and far too many goodbyes. We’ve said more “I miss yous” than we ever imagined, but somehow, across oceans and time zones, we’ve always chose each other.
I feel incredibly blessed to have my Ajith. He is my calm in every storm — the “let’s figure this out” to my overthinking, the “are you okay?” after every disagreement, and the “I just wanted to send you something… just because.” He makes me feel seen, heard, and endlessly loved, and he constantly encourages me to be the best version of myself.
There is no one else I would want to do this life with. What started with a swipe has become our forever.
